The conference room rate for 2011 is $132. The Atlanta Airport Marriott is a smoke-free facility. The hotel’s smoke-free policy includes all guest rooms, restaurants, lounges, meeting rooms, public spaces, and employee work areas. The hotel reserves the right to charge a $250 room recovery fee for guests who do not comply with the smoke-free policy. The Georgia Department of Education is not responsible for room recovery fees.

Conference Hotel Lodging

The Georgia Department of Education WILL NOT reimburse participants for the cost of lodging at the conference or workshops. There will be no master billing.  Participants must arrange for and pay through either their Title I budget or other local fund source.  

The deadline for hotel reservations at the conference rate is Friday, May 27, 2011. All conference attendees are responsible for securing their own hotel reservations. There is no charge for conference self parking. Valet parking is available, but will be an individual’s financial responsibility.
