| Course/Workshop Description | Participants will be trained by Marcus Autism Center staff to (1) administer and use data from the ABBLS-R to select developmentally appropriate IEP goals based on the needs of individual students, and to (2) determine the appropriateness of additional assessment tools. Participants will identify one student to assess using the ABBLS-R and will develop IEP and objectives based on results. Materials and competency measures for this child will be used throughout the training series.
Selection and Registration of ANCA Participants
Priority will be given to teachers, SLPS, and school psychologists who work with elementary-aged students with mild, moderate and/or severe developmental delays and/or autism. Participants are expected to participate in all training sessions as lessons are sequential and build on skills developed in the previous session.
